We're having a Girl

We found out the news today. I took a blood test last week and the results came in today! We are absolutely delighted and our thanking the Lord. I am almost 13 weeks and the baby is growing right on schedule.

Egypt photos

Here is a photo of the famous Khan-Khalili market in Cairo. We enjoyed walking around and looking for interesting things to bring home. You defintely need to have a back bone if you are going to get a good price. Out of all our travels around the world, the Cairo market is the most intense! These young married Egyptians asked to take a photo with James and I. Kinda funny, huh?
A lovely country-side view of a Giza Pyramid.

A favorite photo of my boys.

James is checking out the man on the donkey who rode up to sell us a coke. He pulled two bottles out of his bag and opened them even after we told him that we didn't want any. He waited around about 15 minutes, hoping that we would become his customers anyway. A police man on a camel came by and shooed him away for us.

James loved the camels and didn't want to get down. He was definitely more brave than mommy!

I'm Back to Blogging!

Hello dear friends. There is so much to tell you about. Most importantly, James is going to be a big brother. I am 11 weeks pregnant and haven't been feeling my best these past few weeks. But I am praying that this phase (nausea and exhaustion) will soon pass like it did with my pregnancy with James at 14 weeks. We are absolutely delighted and counting our blessings with this exciting news. The baby's due date is August 9 and Lord willing, will be born here in Brazil. Yes, we are back in Brazil and are settling back into a routine. We flew back January 9th, on my birthday and it was such fun to celebrate in both counties with loved ones. Well, it is official, I am 29 and holding as the expression goes. I have many photos to share from the past 3 months, so please excuse me as I play catch up. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Here is a photo of our dear neighbors Debora and Natalia who decorated our apartment door for our arrival. Wow, how we felt loved!
